OCTOBER 3 FESTIVAL IN LEIDEN

New Amsterdam Travel Video- Have you ever heard of the October 3rd Festival in Leiden? Also known as the Leidens Ontzet, It's an annual event, celebrating their resistance to and liberation from the Spanish in 1574. An official city holiday since the 1800s, the town throws one big party during the first week of October with carnivals, parades, music and historical re-enactments.
